Counselling Xtra is a low cost counselling service based in Nottingham.
We also provide counselling placement and counselling supervision training for students and professionals.
Established in 2007, Counselling Xtra is a subsidiary of Nottingham Women’s Counselling Service (NWCS) and is governed by a memorandum and articles of the association of NWCS, has charitable status, and is an organisational member of BACP. Counselling Xtra works in partnership with the University of Nottingham research team to identify more effective ways of monitoring outcomes.
Our counsellors are fully qualified to diploma level or above or in advanced training at one of Nottingham’s premier training providers, including the University of Nottingham and The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. Qualified and experienced counsellors supervise, support and train counsellors on placement. The counsellors are fully supported by the counselling service with clinical supervision, professional indemnity insurance, membership of the B.A.C.P, and continual professional development.

Dedicated counselling rooms.
Training in house.
Group supervision & individual supervision.
Professional Indemnity Insurance to £5 million.
12 years experience in management of student placements.
Group Membership of B.A.C.P.
Introduction to private practice tax law and accounting procedures.
Induction and ongoing management Support.
What we expect from you:

You will be in advanced stages of training for professional diploma or above.
4 way contract.
2 years commitment.
Fee of £45 per month (subject to change) payable by direct debit.
References from your university or college.
