Led by Les Johns

We are very excited to be offering this fascinating subject delivered by Les Johns. Les’s original training was psychodynamic and over the years he has evolved, via many of the major approaches, into a committed person-centred counsellor.
Drawing from this experience, and on the wisdom of such giants as Melanie Klein, John Bowlby and Carl Rogers he will use the day to explore the worlds of Object Relations and Person-Centredness with an emphasis on the importance of giving and receiving love. We will consider the influence of our experiences (growthful as well as inhibiting) on the formation of our personalities, and on those of our clients.
We will then explore how the provision of unconditional love can enable growth, freeing our clients, and us, to become the people we were all were intended to be.'
This day is suitable for student, qualified Counsellors and Supervisors, Pastoral, youth and support workers, in fact, anyone involved in caring for others.
